• Not excluded by court order (legal ban)
• Valid ID holder (driver’s license, passport)

Sportsbet verifies age at registration. False info = account terminated, funds forfeited.

Your Account

• One account per person. Multiple accounts = all closed, money forfeited.
• You’re responsible for security. Don’t share passwords. Sportsbet not liable for hacking if you shared access.
• Keep info current. Address changes = update in settings. Out-of-date info = withdrawal delays.

Deposits

• Minimum: AUD$5 (varies by method)
• Maximum: AUD$10,000/day (fraud prevention)
• Instant credit: PayID/POLi (no fees)
• No refunds: Deposits non-refundable once confirmed

Withdrawals

• Minimum: AUD$10
• No maximum limits (some sportsbooks cap at AUD$1000/day)
• Processing: PayID same-day / Bank 1-2 business days
• AML checks: Large withdrawals (AUD$10,000+) may take 24-48 hours (legal requirement)

Bets Are Binding Once Placed

• Cannot cancel bets (once “Place Bet” tapped, it’s locked)
• Can cash out anytime (before event ends) at current odds
• Odds locked at placement (not affected by market moves)

Void/Cancel Rules

Bets cancelled (money returned) if:

• Market suspended before event starts (unusual odds move)
• Event doesn’t happen (match postponed)
• Technical error in pricing (wrong odds offered)
• Betting is prohibited (court order, regulatory action)

Partial Void

Parlay with 3 legs. One leg voids. What happens?

• Remaining 2 legs stand as 2-leg parlay
• Odds recalculated (lower payout)
• If all legs void = full refund

Settlement Timing

• Most markets: Settled within 24 hours of event end
• Disputed results: Can take 7-14 days (official confirmation)
• Live betting: Settled after final whistle/siren

You Cannot:

• Use VPN/proxy to bypass geo-restrictions (account terminated)
• Exploit software glitches (bets voided, funds forfeited)
• Match betting (betting both sides to guarantee profit – banned by law)
• Automated betting (bots, scripts, scrapers – account closed)
• Insider information (betting on fixed matches – criminal offense)
• Money laundering (AML laws enforced, reported to AUSTRAC)

What Sportsbet Is NOT Liable For:

• System downtime (if you miss bet placement)
• Your internet connection failures
• Third-party payment processor errors
• Gambling losses (betting is your choice, not Sportsbet’s)

What Sportsbet IS Liable For:

• Their system bugs causing incorrect odds
• Data breach/hacking on their servers
• Refusing legitimate withdrawals without cause
• Regulatory violations (ILGA license breaches)
